"KTP:n takamies Lamb Autrey oli tänään kaupan agentilta tulleessa sähköpostissa. Se tarkoittanee, että hän tekee tilaa uudelle sopimuspelaajalle Paris Brownille."
Autrey Lamb, MVP in Czech Republic last season (PG, 1989, 190cm), is currently in Finland and looking for a better situation for himself. Lamb style of play and what the coach wants are totally different and we are looking to find a better fit. In short, his current coach does not utilize the mid-range game in his offense because he adheres to the philosophy that mid-range jumpers are bad per se and that players should take 3s or attack the basket. This limits Lamb's efficiency and by that his ability to help this team because his mid-range game has always been the "go-to" part of his game".
Lamb is a textbook example for a high level talent who was overlooked coming out of college because he played at a small NCAA2 school. He was selected in the NBA D-League Draft in 2012, a first sign that he was a diamond in the rough, but it was not until last season that he exploded onto the scene. With BK Lions Jindrichuv Hradec, he put together a memorable season in the Czech Republic: The versatile combo finished 6th in scoring, 5th in rebounding, 6th in assists and 1st in steals and pocketed Player of the Year, Guard of the Year and Import Player of the Year honors. He is a physical guard with an exceptional mid-range game and he can erupt for a triple-double any time. Amazing rebounder for his position. Not a specialist but very good in a lot of areas, a player without a glaring weakness. Very mature individual who has shown incredible strength of character by not giving up on his dream when it seemed unlikely that he'd ever get close to making it a reality.
